Smiley awarded to the Delta Hotel by Marriott am Kaiserlei
23.10.2020 – Another company in Offenbach has been awarded the Offenbach Smiley. On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, City Councillor Sabine Groß presented the award to the team at the Delta Hotel by Marriott.
Since 2011, the smiley has been awarded to food businesses in the catering industry that have attracted positive attention during the annual inspections. Checks are carried out, for example, to ensure that staff and production hygiene is maintained. If a company meets these requirements, it can apply for the Smiley from the Veterinary and Consumer Protection Office.
"I am delighted to be able to present the award to the Delta Hotel," commented Sabine Groß, Head of the Health Department, on the presentation. "The company has fulfilled the requirements in a very exemplary manner."
The Delta Hotel by Marriott in Offenbach is the first Delta Hotel in Europe. It is operated by the US hotel company Marriott International, Inc. and is now part of the largest hotel chain in the world.
The hotel, which reopened at the end of August, can serve up to 300 guests at the breakfast buffet in the hotel's own "Eastside Restaurant". At lunchtime and in the evening, fine cuisine is served à la carte. The operators always attach great importance to quality and freshness: the suppliers for the ingredients are carefully selected.
