Mental Health Week - More attention, fewer taboos

01.10.2025

From 10 to 20 October 2025, the nationwide Mental Health Week will send a strong signal for removing taboos and promoting conversations about mental health. Offenbach's municipal health department is using this opportunity to draw social attention to mental health, break down prejudices and make help services visible.

Mayor and Head of Health Sabine Groß explains: "Mental health is an issue that affects us all - regardless of our stage of life, age, background or profession. But we often avoid talking about it out of shame or insecurity. We want to encourage the courage to talk openly about it and show the citizens of Offenbach where they can find support."
