Independent complaints office in accordance with the Mental Health Assistance Act
With the establishment of an independent complaints office, the City of Offenbach is complying with the requirement of the Mental Health Assistance Act, which came into force on August 1, 2017, to set up a neutral office for suggestions and complaints.
The Psychiatry Complaints Office in accordance with the Mental Health Assistance Act for the city of Offenbach has been set up to receive complaints from those affected, relatives and employees of psychiatric facilities and to bring about an improvement in the situation.
This can be done, for example, through a mediated discussion between the parties concerned with the aim of finding a good solution to the conflict.
