The dental examination in daycare centers and schools - The yellow letter
The dental health of our children is important to us! That's why we carry out regular dental check-ups in Offenbach's daycare centers and schools.
What is the yellow letter?
After the examination, your child will receive a "yellow letter". This informs you about the results and gives you important recommendations for your child's dental health.
What do the markings on the letter mean?
If we have marked something on the letter, we recommend that you take your child to a dental practice of your choice. Please make an appointment as soon as possible and take the "yellow letter" with you so that the dentist can see the examination results.
What could have been found during the dental examination?
- Disease of the milk teeth or permanent teeth
- Inflammation of the gums
- Tartar
- Need for orthodontic treatment - please visit an orthodontic practice
We recommend that you take advantage of the additional services offered by dental practices. These can include
- Education on dental and oral health or individual tooth brushing training
- Fissure sealing to maintain dental health in the long term
- Professional teeth cleaning if excessive plaque has been detected
No notes on the yellow letter?
Your child has good dental health. Regular check-ups are still important.
Please visit your dentist with your child twice a year.
Why are regular visits to the dentist important?
- Early detection of problems
- Promotion of dental health
- Prevention of tooth decay and other diseases
We want to support your child's dental health in the best possible way. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
