Tested positive - what to do?
After a positive test result for an infection with the coronavirus, citizens no longer have to isolate themselves. There is no obligation to test.
However, people with symptoms of coronavirus infection are strongly advised to stay at home for 3 to 5 days until their symptoms improve significantly and to avoid contact and visits.
Vaccination against corona
The Standing Committee on Vaccination recommends that people over the age of 18 and pregnant women without an underlying illness have basic immunity to protect against severe cases of COVID-19. It is important for basic immunity that the immune system has three contacts with components of the pathogen (vaccination) or the pathogen itself (infection). At least one of these contacts should be through the vaccination.
An annual booster vaccination is recommended for particularly vulnerable groups of people.
Vaccination offers are available from general practitioners and in some cases also from pharmacies.
It should be clarified in advance whether the doctor treating you offers a coronavirus vaccination; some practices do not vaccinate against coronavirus.
Vaccination offers from doctors and further information on the corona vaccination can be found at
