As a service provider for our community, you will work quickly and effectively to provide citizens with competent advice. Registering motor vehicles, processing administrative offenses - as an administrator, you will take on all of these tasks and make the administration more citizen-friendly. In this practice-oriented apprenticeship, you will get to know all aspects of working in the public service of a modern city administration.

What you bring with you
- You have your secondary school leaving certificate in your pocket at the start of your apprenticeship
- You are open-minded, committed and enjoy working with people
- You are a team player, communicative and reliable
- Your comprehension skills make it easy for you to deal with legal texts
- You are interested in legal and economic issues and have a high willingness to learn
- If you want to train as an administrator as a civil servant, you need German citizenship or citizenship of an EU member state
- You meet the general requirements for recruitment as a civil servant (you are a German citizen or a citizen of another member state of the European Union and are no more than 40 years old)
Duration of training and salary
- A two-year, practice-oriented apprenticeship with theoretical and practical sections
- Approx. 1,370 € gross

Application
The application period is usually once a year in the fall.

- The last two school reports, including your final certificate if applicable
What happens after your application?
First, you will receive an invitation from us to take an online test. If you pass, you will then be invited to an aptitude test in person, which is divided into a written and an oral part.
