40 years of city administration - From the anniversary in public service

Thomas recently had something to celebrate: the current head of the HR department and Offenbach resident through and through has been working for the city for 40 years! We took this as an opportunity to ask him a few questions in an "interview without words", which he answered photographically (based on the Süddeutsche Zeitung format of the same name). What comes to mind when you think about your work in the HR department?

Why have you been with us for so long?

How do you react when someone pulls out another cliché about a job at the city?

You are a great boss, conversation partner and live the "pragmatic bureaucratic" lifestyle. How do you deal with compliments?

What advice would you give to people looking for a job with room for ideas?
