First Plenary Session of the 14th Children's and Youth Parliament on June 15
On June 15 at 9:30 a.m., the first public plenary session of the new Children’s and Youth Parliament will take place at City Hall. The delegates will elect their new executive board. The session is open to the public, and visitors are warmly welcome.
At the start of the session, between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m., the new exhibition “Politics by and for Children and Youth” will be opened in the presence of City Treasurer Martin Wilhelm and Youth Services Director Roberto Priore, as well as other representatives from politics and administration. It will be on display until June 25 in the foyer and on the first floor of City Hall.
Constituent General Assembly on February 25
On February 25, 2026, all newly elected members will come together for the constituent plenary meeting from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (closing until 2 p.m.). Both meetings will take place in the event hall of the Bernardbau at Herrnstr. 61. Interested children and young people are cordially invited to attend.
Get to know each other on February 16, 2026
On February 16, the newly elected delegates will get to know each other and receive important information for their work on the committee. Younger children (grades 3-7) are invited to attend in the morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and young people from grade 8 onwards are invited in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
