Online hearings for traffic violations in Offenbach are becoming increasingly popular

Anyone caught speeding or parking illegally is given the opportunity to comment on the accusation when administrative offense proceedings are initiated. Since the beginning of March, this has also been possible online at the public order office in Offenbach. "We are thus reducing the workload not only for our employees in the warning office, but also for those affected," says Frank Weber, head of the public order office. "Incorrect entries can be reduced by using the online function and processing times can be shortened overall."
"The service has been well received, as has the option of paying the fine quickly and easily online using a QR code," says Paul-Gerhard Weiß, Head of the Public Order Department, who welcomes the additional online service offered by the Public Order Office for citizens. "This online service complements the existing offer of the Public Order Office to digitally submit serious traffic violations to the traffic warning office as external reports.
