Information on the voluntary police service
The Voluntary Police Service in Hesse is an offer to committed citizens to help ensure safety in their city. Under the motto "Show Presence - Observe - Report", over 300 volunteers are out and about in over 100 towns and cities in Hesse, supporting the police authorities in the performance of their duties.
In the city of Offenbach, committed citizens who are interested in volunteering can also apply for voluntary police service.
As a uniformed police volunteer, you will be active throughout the city of Offenbach and ensure that the subjective and objective sense of security in our city is in good hands under the motto "Show presence, observe, report".
Your area of responsibility
- Showing uniform presence
- Contact person for citizens
- Monitoring and compliance with municipal bylaws
- Accompanying parades and public events
- Close cooperation with municipal and law enforcement police

- Age between 18 and 65 years
- Ability to work in a team
- Openness, reliability and flexibility
- Self-confident and confident appearance
- Confident conversation skills
- Willingness to develop professionally and personally
- Willingness to stand up for the free democratic basic order at all times
