The keys to the joint city police force have been handed over. On Saturday, April 1, the cooperation between the state and city police began. "The presence of an on-site security guard from the South-East Hesse Police Headquarters at Berliner Straße 60 will strengthen the importance of our city watch as a contact point for citizens when it comes to security and order," says Frank Weber, Head of the Public Order Office in Offenbach. "On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 1 pm and on Thursdays from 2 pm to 6 pm, an officer from the state police will be available for Offenbach residents. Joint campaigns, including foot patrols in Offenbach's city center, are intended to visibly increase the presence of our law enforcement and security forces and further promote the networking of our authorities as a further building block of the joint security architecture for Offenbach!"
