Après-Midi - season opening on Mathildenplatz

22.04.2025

The time has finally come again and Mathildenplatz will once again be transformed into a meeting place for the neighborhood and guests on Fridays after work: from 25 April, you can once again enjoy the evening sun together from 5 p.m. and round off the week with wine and culinary delights. That's when Gregoris Revzin, operator of the Offenbach wine bar "Le midi", will be serving up the finest culinary delights.

Après-Midi has now become a permanent institution on Mathildenplatz and a popular destination far beyond the district's borders. In the shadow of St. Mary's Church, a wide range of southern French wines and changing Mediterranean specialties are on offer. Whether mussels, lamb sausages or ratatouille, there are new culinary delights to discover every week. This makes it easy to get into a relaxed conversation and get in the mood for the weekend. Gregoris Revzin says: "I hope that everyone who comes together on Friday evenings for après-midi on Mathildenplatz can enjoy their evening with Mediterranean lightness in the evening sun."

The Mathildenviertel district management team is delighted with the positive development of the event series, which underlines its importance as a popular neighborhood meeting point. That's why the team offers a selection of play equipment, boules balls, table tennis bats and a range of board games that can be borrowed on site, not just during the event. In case of rain or wind, the neighboring district office can be used.

The Neighborhood Management is a service offered by the City of Offenbach for residents of the four districts Lauterborn, Mathildenviertel, Nordend and Südliche Innenstadt / Senefelderquartier. Further information can be found at: www.offenbach.de/quartiersmanagement.
