Bieber and Bürgel disposal fund
There are many good ideas in Bieber and Bürgel to make the town centers more attractive: a district festival, the installation of benches and planters. The development fund is now providing the necessary financial support to implement these projects.

General information
The disposal fund has been set up for the two town centers of Bieber and Bürgel. It is financed by funds from the federal government, the state of Hesse and the city of Offenbach. The areas supported include the Bieber town center and the Bürgel town center
What is supported?
A wide range of small to medium-sized measures can be supported by the disposal fund. This ranges from investment measures, such as the promotion of benches or art in public spaces, to non-investment measures, such as neighborhood projects or festivals. This includes upgrading the residential environment, for example by installing benches, creating small recreational areas, planting campaigns, improving the lighting situation, projects to combat store vacancies, for example in the form of temporary use and much more. Public relations projects such as advertising materials and printing costs for campaigns or events, exhibitions, etc. are also eligible for funding. The disposal fund also supports the remuneration of smaller commissions, for example for artists or speakers at events.
Who is supported?
Associations, initiatives or even individual citizens can apply for funding. The municipal guidelines provide information on what can be funded and in what amount. The core area management team will be happy to provide support and advice.
How much funding is available?
Funding for a non-investment project, for example a festival, amounts to a maximum of 2,500 euros. If a project is an investment, the funding amounts to 7,500 euros.
Who decides on the funding
In order to ensure that the disposal fund also supports suitable projects in the town centers, decisions are also made locally by the local committee known as the Local Partnership. It is made up of local stakeholders from the two town centers and decides on the individual applications. It meets quarterly. The meetings are open to the public.
