Swap shelf in the Nordend district office
18.01.2024 – The swap shelf in the Nordend district office is a popular destination in the neighborhood and has been in active use for some time. Well-preserved and usable items can be put on the shelf to give away and other items can be taken in return. A couple from the neighborhood initiated the offer at the time.
The motto here is: "Pass it on instead of throwing it away!" "Not only does it make people happy, it also helps the environment," announces district manager Mandy Dott. The contents range from board games to kitchen utensils and decorative items. Visitors to the district office can fill the shelf themselves and take out what they need. However, there is no room for textiles and shoes on the exchange shelf. Books are displayed on the book exchange shelf on the other side of the room, where they are waiting for a new home. Anything that works, is usable and clean can be dropped off during the opening hours of the district office (Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 1 pm) at Bernardstraße 63.
If you have any questions, please contact the district manager Mandy Dott at dottqurbande.
Neighborhood management is a service provided by the City of Offenbach for residents of the four districts of Lauterborn, Mathildenviertel, Nordend and Südliche Innenstadt/Senefelderquartier.
