The Nordend district office opened its doors in January 2010. It is part of the City of Offenbach's neighborhood management. In the rooms at Bernardstraße 63, residents of Nordend find a sympathetic ear and a place for exchange and communication.

Groups and events in the district office
Games meeting every Wednesday
For the past six years, games enthusiasts have been meeting every Wednesday from 19:00 to around 22:00 at the Nordend district office. The aim of the Spieletreff is to bring people from the neighborhood together, discover new games and promote social contacts. Participation is free, games are provided and you can bring your own games.
The meeting has developed into a permanent group in Nordend and is supported by the Nordend Round Table with funds from the Disposition Fund to finance new games, storage chests and information material.
Crochet get-together every Monday
Every Monday from 16:00 to 20:00, creative people meet at the Nordend district office to crochet and do handicrafts. The meeting offers space to realize your own projects, exchange techniques and get to know new ideas. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants can get into conversation, make contacts and be creative together. No previous experience is required - all interested parties are welcome.
Kitchen for all
Every two weeks, on Mondays from 17:00 to 21:00, interested neighbors meet at the Nordend district office to cook together. They try out new recipes, share culinary traditions and eat together. The meeting offers a relaxed atmosphere, promotes encounters and exchanges in the neighborhood and cordially invites all interested parties to join in the cooking and networking.
Grannies against the right
Every two weeks, on Wednesdays from 18:30 to 20:00, committed women meet at the Nordend district office to campaign against extremism and discrimination and for democracy. The group discusses social issues, plans campaigns and supports initiatives for tolerance and diversity in the neighborhood. The meeting offers a safe space for exchange, networking and joint commitment - all interested parties are welcome.
Labor lawyer of the Greek community
The company and employment law advice service takes place on various dates, usually at weekends, in the Nordend district office. Interested parties receive clear information and support on topics such as employment contracts, dismissal and employee rights. The meeting offers the opportunity to clarify open questions, gain security in everyday working life and exchange ideas with experts.
Homework help
Every day from 12:30 to 14:30, and every Thursday from 16:15 to 18:15, the homework help service in the Nordend district office supports children and young people in learning and completing schoolwork. In a quiet and supervised atmosphere, participants receive individual support and can ask questions. The aim of the service is to improve the children's educational opportunities, boost their self-confidence and promote their academic development.
Caritas Association Offenbach Playmobile
The Caritas Spielmobil is regularly on the road in the Nordend district and offers children a wide range of outdoor play and creative activities. Children can play together, do handicrafts, train their movement skills and make new friends. The aim of the project is to promote encounters, social skills and participation in the neighborhood - all children are welcome.
Arriving in Offenbach - Open consultation hours for newly immigrated families from the EU
An open consultation hour for newly immigrated families from the European Union takes place every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Nordend district office.
The advice service is provided by the German Red Cross (DRK) as part of the "Arriving in Offenbach" project and is aimed at families with children who need support in arriving and finding their way around Offenbach.
