Flyer with overview of district offices with neighborhood management
Neighborhood management and district offices have long been an integral part of Offenbach's social infrastructure. It began in 2002 in the Mathildenviertel - then known as "Östliche Innenstadt" - in connection with the Socially Integrative City funding program. In 2010, the city transferred this model to the Lauterborn and Nordend districts. The Südliche Innenstadt/Senefelderquartier area was added in 2013.
Neighborhood offices with a neighborhood management team are places for information, meetings and exchange. Ideas for events and activities in the district are developed here. Groups and associations can meet here. Knowledgeable people from the neighborhood management help everyone in the district with questions and suggestions. For example, when the city redesigns traffic routes and creates green spaces. Or when initiatives are looking for other people who would like to take part in activities for the neighborhood.
The flyer was updated in January 2025 and is available in all district offices.
