City of Offenbach

Temple Lake

AC/DC, Robbie Williams, Die Fantastischen Vier or ZZ-Top: they have all been guests in the Tempelsee district. After all, the town hall located there not only offers space for up to 4,000 people, but also plenty of room and a good infrastructure for events of all kinds. Incidentally, the district is named after an old mill that was powered by the water of the Hainbach stream until the 20th century. As early as 1799, an edition of the "Flora der Wetterau" noted: "...in the forest near the Tempelsee mill behind Offenbach ...".
