Ornithology and environmental protection: the ornithological annual report 2022

03.08.2023

Klaus Fiedler, board member of the Hessian Society for Ornithology and Nature Conservation e.V., presented Mayor Sabine Groß with the ornithologists' current inventory.

On Wednesday, July 26, ornithologist Klaus Fiedler visited the mayor and head of the environment department Sabine Groß in the town hall to present her with the latest annual ornithological report and to thank her for the city's printing subsidy.
For the 200-page publication, 220 volunteer ornithologists recorded, photographed and reported species and populations. "Nature is changing and the observations of the many volunteers are a great help in tracking developments in the city and district of Offenbach," says Mayor Groß. "I would like to thank everyone who took part in collecting the data and all those who helped to compile the report."

The 39th annual report was published by the Offenbach District Association of Nature Conservation (Nabu) and the Offenbach Working Group of the Hessian Society for Ornithology and Nature Conservation (HGON). The annual report has been published with a print run of 200 copies and is available directly at a price of 10 euros plus postage:
