Climate-proof water extraction for Offenbach too

The Hessisches Ried Water Association (WHR) has approved the admission of the city and district of Offenbach as members of the association. Mayor Sabine Groß says: "By joining, the city is setting out to secure Offenbach's supply of drinking water from the Hessisches Ried groundwater resource and thus broaden its overall position. Especially because the supply of water from the Hessian Ried with the infiltration of treated Rhine water is not exclusively dependent on groundwater levels. The city of Offenbach is thus moving in step with the district."
