Nature & species conservation

The remit of nature and species conservation includes monitoring the legal requirements of the Federal Nature Conservation Act, state-specific laws and ordinances as well as municipal statutes. The aim is to preserve and protect the diversity of species and the functioning of the ecosystem in the city of Offenbach am Main. The contact for all questions relating to nature and species conservation is the Lower Nature Conservation Authority in the Office for Environment and Climate.
