Free e-cargo bike loan at the Senefelderquartier district office
21.01.2025
The City of Offenbach's Office for the Environment and Climate has been providing e-cargo bikes for four years now. The offer is made in cooperation with the Rhine-Main regional group of the Verkehrsclub Deutschland (VCD) and is supported by Offenbach retailers. The e-cargo bikes can be borrowed by citizens free of charge. Due to the very high demand, the rental system is now being expanded this year to include an e-cargo bike. A total of seven e-cargo bikes can now be rented at six rental stations. The new bike is now available for hire at the Senefelderquartier district office.
Neighborhood managers Jessica Teschke and Katrin Weimann are delighted about the new opportunity to draw people's attention to the work of the neighborhood office: "We hope and are convinced that many people will take advantage of this great offer and that we will have the opportunity to bring our work even closer to the people in the neighborhood and beyond," says Jessica Teschke. The VCD's cargo bike sponsor Josias Bergmann is also certain: "The seventh cargo bike in Offenbach will certainly be used just as much as all the other bikes. The VCD initiative makes it possible for many Offenbach residents to use a practical and environmentally friendly form of mobility."
After prior registration and booking via the www.main-lastenrad.de (opens in a new tab) platform, citizens can pick up and return the e-cargo bike during opening hours.
The opening hours at the Senfelderquartier district office, Hermannstraße 16, 63069 Offenbach, are as follows
Monday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday: 12:30 to 19 o'clock
