Conversion of Offenbach's city bus fleet to electric buses

In Offenbach, electromobility is seen as an important part of sustainable, climate-friendly urban and transportation development. To ensure the mobility of tomorrow in the densely populated conurbation, the municipal utility company OVB is gradually converting its bus fleet to environmentally friendly drive technology. The first seven electric buses have been in operation since the timetable change on December 13, 2020, with a further 29 e-buses gradually being put into service over the course of 2021. Almost half of the fleet now runs on electricity.
