In our house, we encourage the children to use their imagination with a variety of materials and to develop a love of discovery and learning. We focus on nature education, music, creativity, research and experimentation.

We work in partially open groups that focus on the following:

• Nature-based learning with small beds for each group, forest and nature days
• Regular cross-group excursions within and outside the city
• Early musical education with additional offerings from the Offenbach music school
• Language education integrated into everyday life
• Discovering the joy of books with a large children's library

Our children have many opportunities to discover and develop through experiences in nature. This is why we make intensive use of the outdoor area with its natural play and learning opportunities. We regularly go on walks, excursions and trips to the forest, the meadow, the biotope and nearby parks. This allows the children to gain varied and valuable direct experience by experiencing, experimenting and observing in the great outdoors.

Once a week, the entire daycare center meets in the gym, or outside in the courtyard when the weather is nice, to sing songs together and play movement and dance games. Instruments such as guitars and drums are also used. This "singing circle" promotes the children's social interaction as well as their sense of rhythm and beat.

In order to awaken the children's natural curiosity and urge to explore, we have created opportunities for exploratory learning in our rooms. We want to enable the children to explore the world with all their senses. They are supported in finding their own way of learning and become increasingly aware of how they learn. We record important experiences in everyday life at the daycare center in a portfolio for the child.

We provide sensitive and individual support to help children settle in. A family corner is available for the families. Here they receive important information about everyday kindergarten life.
