City of Offenbach

Shopping and gastronomy

The art of living is sitting on the harbor steps after a shopping tour and watching the stand-up paddlers. Or drinking an Äppler on Wilhelmsplatz.

Before that, the route led to the insider tips of the hippsters: Etagerie in Taunusstraße or Tafelgold in Senefelder Straße. Both stores are owner-managed and dedicated to beautiful things and interiors. Just like Nicole Park: in her concept store Vintagepark, she not only offers elegant fashion by Lena Hoschek, Marianna Déri and Gracy Q, but also the matching accessories. A touch of Prenzlberg wafts through Karlstraße, a place for young people and creative types. Bernardstraße is almost an establishment, where families and friends meet every Thursday at the market on Goetheplatz, or even longer if the weather is nice. Then Peter Reichard from the Genussverstärkern puts the chairs outside and Auntie Mina bakes delicious muffins & co. in the district office. Who wouldn't want to fall in love! Then it's not far to Anke Kratz's Strandperle, where the goldsmith makes individual rings for eternity.
