Federal forum for fire safety education in Soltau
On Thursday, November 21, we set off for the Federal Forum for Fire Safety Education in Soltau. We used the evening before to catch up with our colleagues from Hesse over a good schnitzel in the local brewery.
The next morning, the symposium was already in full swing. Each of us listened to the speakers' exciting and very informative presentations. They covered all the topics that a fire safety educator's heart could desire. From puppet shows, media and public relations work to evacuation drills in schools and daycare centers, there was something for everyone.
Of course, we didn't want to miss out on the fun and our team, so on Saturday after the conference we decided to go on a little tour of the town and explore Soltau before heading home on Sunday morning with lots of new ideas in our suitcases.
