Garden shed burns to the ground
09.03.2021 – At around 5:54 p.m. on Monday, a large number of callers reported a garden shed fire to the emergency control center in the "Am Maingarten" area between the sports field and the dog track in Offenbach-Bürgel.
The control center of the Offenbach fire department then alerted the firefighting unit of the professional fire department to the reported scene. The firefighters who arrived at the scene confirmed the reported situation. For unknown reasons, a garden shed with several wooden extensions was on fire. Firefighting was immediately initiated with two emergency crews and the deployment of two jet pipes.
At 18:10, the incident commander was able to report "fire under control". The extinguishing work continued until 18:50. There was no danger to surrounding garden sheds at any time. No persons were injured during the operation.
