Room fire in Heinrich-Heine-Straße

09.06.2022 – When the fire department arrived, thick black smoke was billowing out of the windows of an apartment on the 3rd floor.

As no one opened the door, the emergency services had to gain access to the apartment. Fortunately, it was found that no one was at home. The walls were already heavily soiled by the deep black smoke, making the apartment uninhabitable for the time being. The fire department extinguished the fire in the living room and then ventilated the apartment.

Earlier that afternoon, the fire department had to respond to Konrad-Adenauer-Straße at around 3:45 pm because a smoke alarm had sounded in an apartment on the 2nd floor. The fire department's attack team entered the apartment via the turntable ladder. Food was burning on a stove in the kitchen. No one was present in this apartment either.
