Traffic accident between two cars on Mühlheimer Straße

In response to the reports, the professional fire department's assistance train was deployed to the scene together with the emergency services. When the fire department arrived, the reports confirmed that there had been a head-on collision between two cars.

All persons were already outside their vehicles and first aid was administered. The two emergency doctors examined the people and took them to the ambulances for further treatment. All of the people were then taken to hospital for further examination.

At the same time, other members of the fire department's rescue team cleaned up any leaking fuel to prevent an environmental hazard and disconnected the batteries of the cars involved. Mühlheimer Straße was fully closed for the duration of the rescue work and accident investigation.

The operation ended at 10:00 am.
