Several simultaneous fire alarms and serious traffic accident

30.11.2025 – On Sunday, 30.11.2025, the central control center of the city of Offenbach am Main received two reports about fire alarm systems at 13:45.

On one occasion, this was caused by burnt food and on the other by painting work.

A traffic accident occurred on Mühlheimer Straße at around 14:00 during these operations. Four people, including a child, were seriously injured. All injured persons were transported to nearby hospitals after receiving first aid.

Also at around 2 p.m., an Advent wreath caught fire in an apartment building in the Bieber district. This was extinguished by an attentive neighbor, who suffered minor injuries and had to be treated as an outpatient on site.

In addition to the professional fire department, the volunteer fire departments from Bieber, Rumpenheim and Waldheim as well as a large contingent of emergency services from the city and district of Offenbach were deployed to deal with the above-mentioned emergency situations.
