Welcome to the website of the Staff Council of the Offenbach Fire Brigade
The City of Offenbach am Main's fire department is an independent department in which a separate staff council must be formed in accordance with the Hessian Staff Representation Act (HPVG). The almost 300 employees are civil servants and salaried staff who are deployed in the areas of the professional fire department, rescue service, central control center, civil protection and disaster control and civil defense.
The Staff Council has co-determination in all important personnel and organizational matters. It monitors compliance with applicable laws, regulations, collective agreements, service agreements and administrative directives for the benefit of employees.
The current focus is on participation in discussions on administrative reform and budget consolidation. Here, we contribute the views of the employees in working and project groups and attach importance to maintaining the best possible service for the citizens of Offenbach.
