Training for fire inspector candidates / career path of the higher fire department (m/f/d)
We are looking for fire chief inspector candidates (m/f/d) with the start of training on 01.04.2027.

What you can expect:
- A two-year apprenticeship as a civil servant on revocation
- You will have the opportunity to make a lateral entry into the fire department career path
- You will complete the 24-week basic firefighting course, including basic firefighting and tactical training for the operational service of the professional fire department (theory and practice)
- You will complete various internship sections in which you will perform the tasks of squad leader (1st internship), group leader (2nd internship) and platoon leader (3rd internship)
- You will get to know the tasks of the various fire departments
- You will work in various professional fire departments within Germany as part of training sections
- At the end of the preparatory service, you will take your career examination for the higher fire department
- After successfully completing the preparatory service, you will be deployed in a varied area of operation in our fire department
What you bring with you:
- You have a successful Bachelor's degree or a degree recognized as equivalent in a field suitable for the higher fire department or have obtained this degree by the start of training on 01.04.2027 at the latest
- You are no more than 40 years old at the start of training
- You meet the requirements for appointment as a civil servant in accordance with Section 7 of the Civil Service Status Act
- You have very good health and physical fitness as well as unrestricted fitness for operational duty
- You have a high degree of team spirit and flexibility as well as a sense of responsibility
- You are a strong communicator and have a convincing manner
- You have strong decision-making skills and your solution-oriented approach is convincing
- You have an EU driver's license (at least class B)
- You have a good command of written and spoken German (at least level C1 CEFR)
- You have an impeccable police clearance certificate
