City of Offenbach

Youth fire department and town fire inspector

The historic building at Schlossgasse 1 is used by the youth fire department, the town fire inspector, the fire safety education team and the Rumpenheim Volunteer Fire Brigade Support Association.

The Offenbach am Main youth fire department is a group of children and young people between the ages of 10 and 18 that meets every Tuesday between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the youth fire department building outside of the vacations.

The young firefighters not only learn the basics of firefighting, but also have games evenings, go swimming or ice skating, take part in visits and excursions and much, much more. In summer, training takes place outdoors. In winter, the focus is on theoretical training due to the cold.

Curious? Then just drop by!
