The Bernd and Gisela Rosenheim Foundation was established in 1993 by the artist and sculptor Bernd G. Rosenheim, who was born in Offenbach am Main. His aim is to promote contemporary art. Since its inception, the Rosenheim Foundation has organized art competitions, each of which is based on a specific theme. For the year 2023, the foundation has called on artists throughout Europe to submit hand drawings (black and white) on the theme of "War and Peace". The winner of the 5,000 euro art prize will be announced at the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition will show his or her work as well as other shortlisted works by other artists.
