The exhibition focuses on the individual, the human being. Because a city consists not only of infrastructure, but above all of its inhabitants.
For example, we meet Regina Jonas, the world's first female rabbi of Judaism. She shared the fate of millions of others who were murdered in Auschwitz. Three guardians keep the memory of these people alive and at the same time remind us to be vigilant. The arc stretches into our time and reveals the cultural diversity of Offenbach's inhabitants, the connections and networks of their nationalities.
At the end of the arch, an open circle with poetry written especially for this exhibition has been created as a contemporary adaptation of this SPURENSUCHE.
