In addition to the technical basics of typesetting and handling the printing presses, the workshop also aims to teach an artistic and creative approach to letters in order to understand the typeset text as a work of art in its own right.
For this purpose, a FAG proofing press with electric inking unit, two classic letterpresses from the 19th century and a manual proofing press are available.
The workshop will be led by designer Marina Kampka, who studied at the Offenbach University of Art and Design.
