Basic Law(t) Print your own rules - a workshop to mark the anniversary of the Basic Law
"Basic law(s) Print your own rules". This is what the pupils who attend our democracy workshop do. They learn about the Basic Law, negotiate their own rules and print and bind their own "class law". Afterwards, each child can individually design a creative leaflet on the topic of democracy. The results will be presented in an exhibition.

Bring your favorite toy to the museum. We'll talk about what you like about it and what you like to do with it. What do you think children used to play with? We look at a very, very large toy that is here in the museum. It tells us a lot about people from almost 300 years ago. Finally, we make our own dress-up dolls.

Museum search
We go in search of clues in the museum. Which objects do the pictures lead us to and what do we find out about these objects? We discuss the results and at the end of this search for clues we make our own little museum book with the treasures we have found.

Soap, serum, snuff - museum tour and workshop on Offenbach's industrial history
Offenbach has changed its face many times. The development into an industrial city was particularly important. We look at what the word industry actually means and which products were manufactured in Offenbach. Then we go into production ourselves. We will make things from two important Offenbach materials, namely small leather bags and fragrant, decorated soaps, which you can then keep or give away in the bag you have made yourself.
