The word artists Natalie Ende and Marlene Schulz are exhibiting their work in the reading room of the Klingspor Museum. They have been working together on word collages since 2020. They cut out words from various magazines that spontaneously appeal to them - even the selection of the words is part of the creative process. New texts are then created from the snippets of words. The collages also play with different fonts, font sizes and colors. For the artists, working together means first working on the word collages individually and then checking each other for consistency. In this final valuable step, it is possible to discover whether something is superfluous, whether something is missing or whether a color or font is distracting and needs to be replaced.
The exhibition will be on display in the reading room until around the end of April 2026. This will create an inspiring environment for reading room users in particular. All other visitors to the museum are also welcome to come in spontaneously during the reading room's opening hours to discover the collages. The reading room is usually open from Monday to Thursday until 3.30 pm, on Fridays only in the mornings. If you would like to work in the reading room, please register by calling 069 / 8065 - 2065 or - 2066.
