Friday, February 6, 6 p.m., Goldjunge. Comic reading with Mikael Ross as part of the YIPPIE! Children's Comic Festival. The comic is about what the famous composer Beethoven was like as a child and how it is not easy to be a genius. From 9 years. Admission of your choice. Cool drinks available at the book bar.

Friday, February 13, 6 p.m., Buchbar, Kinderbuch aktuell - Curator's guided tour through the International Children's Book Exhibition. Cost: 2 euros

Friday, February 20, 6:30 pm, Friends Exclusive. For friends and guests. Tatjana Bergelt "Pas de deux". The book artist, who is traveling from Finland, will present her book "Pas de deux", which the "Friends of the Klingspor Museum" association has acquired for the museum. As always on Fridays, there will be time for discussions at the book bar afterwards.

Sunday, February 22, 4 p.m., family tour with Antje Ehmann. Children's book expert and journalist Antje Ehmann presents the most beautiful new publications in the field of picture books. She presents her personal favorites and talks to visitors of all ages. Afterwards, coloring pictures with motifs from the exhibition can be colored in. Admission + 2.00 euros
Wednesday, February 25, 3 - 5 p.m., Klingspor meets daycare center. Ideas and impulses for the use of current picture books in daycare centers. With literary scholar Antje Ehmann. With registration, 40.00 euros. Optional guided tour from 2 pm.

Saturday, February 28, 2 - 5 p.m., treasure chest. Drawing workshop for adults and young people aged 15 and over. With Cristóbal and Johanna Schmal. Do you remember as a child discovering treasures along the way? Sticks, buttons, pebbles or shells - miniatures from nature or everyday life of inestimable value? These small objects filled our pockets and our imagination - they became play companions and carriers of memories. In this workshop, we will tap into this "invisible" magic in things. Starting with a small collection, we will rummage for associations, emotions and personal fragments that stimulate our imagination and form the starting point for a small visual narrative. No previous knowledge is required. With registration, 20 euros (including materials)

The Klingspor Museum is barrier-free.
A small elevator overcomes the six steps from the entrance to the foyer.
From the foyer, you can reach the 1st and 2nd floors by elevator. The elevator also goes down to the basement, where the toilets are located. Two steps lead into the large exhibition hall, which can be overcome with a lift.
As our entrance door does not open automatically, wheelchair users are welcome to call our reception staff before visiting (Tel.: 069 / 8065-2164).
A tactile floor guidance system facilitates orientation for people with visual impairments.
