100 years of Ivan Gantschev - Presentation and talk with Igna Gantscheva
More than 40 original watercolors and acrylic paintings by the artist Ivan Gantschev (1925-2014) will be on display at the 70th International Children's Book Exhibition at the Klingspor Museum. The Bulgarian-born artist was a formative figure in picture books of the seventies, eighties and nineties. His calm, poetic books, which often depict motifs from his homeland, won numerous awards. All the originals shown in the exhibition are on loan from his daughter Igna Gantscheva.

The Klingspor Museum is barrier-free.
A small elevator overcomes the six steps from the entrance to the foyer.
From the foyer, you can reach the 1st and 2nd floors by elevator. The elevator also goes down to the basement, where the toilets are located. Two steps lead into the large exhibition hall, which can be overcome with a lift.
