About my work

I am fascinated by urban spaces, buildings that are old and in danger of falling into disrepair. Their purpose is being redefined both economically and culturally, just as the Gemieskirch (Grossmarkthalle) in Frankfurt is being converted into the European Central Bank, the Silvertower of the Dresdner Bank into a railroad office building. These are processes of destruction and construction, of remembering and forgetting.

I like to work in series of pictures, which gives me the opportunity to show a movement. And also simply to depict everything more intensively.
