Her studies at the University of Art and Design brought Petra
Maria Mühl to Offenbach/M in 1988, having previously completed her artistic training in Basel/Switzerland at the School of Design.

She has been a freelance artist and graphic designer since 1995 and lives and works in Offenbach/M and Frankfurt/M.

Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad

The focus of her artistic work lies in the concept, which for her means confronting a chosen theme with the means of expression of painting, drawing, collage and installation. For more than 20 years, she has been creating works on the exciting theme of "remembering and forgetting".

New works are currently being created on the occasion of the exploration of the dark side of the moon - in connection with fragments from long-standing themes such as "Saturn's time", Dürer and the Renaissance, geometry, metamorphosis and nature. Multi-faceted and imaginative collages are layered to create their own pictorial world, not only on tissue paper.
