SCAPE° is an interactive exhibition and experience space in Offenbach. Under the motto "Weather, climate, change. We explain and explore it together", exciting hands-on stations, workshops and events are used to convey the major connections between weather and climate. The exhibition is free of charge. SCAPE° is present in the urban environment with other activities, brings people together and is therefore an important player in the gradual transformation and revitalization of Offenbach's city centre.
We, the team behind SCAPE°, want to provide impetus for climate and environmentally conscious city life. It is important to us that everyone - visitors and doers - has fun and optimism exploring the weather and climate and building up their individual climate expertise. The basis for all these activities is our participatory and democratic approach. The aim is to connect people and jointly develop science-based, sustainable, fair and practical ideas for living with climate change - for our city, our environment and our planet Earth.
SCAPE° is implemented by the city's departments for cultural management, environment and climate and economic development and the German Weather Service (DWD).
