The playful adaptation of the story of the robber Hotzenplotz serves as a basis for getting to know the children's library. The children solve riddles about the robber and learn lots of interesting facts about the stock and lending procedures of the children's library.

The children explore the children's library by working on knightly activity sheets. In doing so, they get to know the services and lending methods of the children's library.

FindeFuchs: Searching and researching

Pupils gather information on various topics. By using non-fiction books, encyclopaedias, dictionaries and a children's search engine, the children train themselves to find information independently.

The event combines reading aloud the story "Fiete - The sunken ship" with digital content. The children explore the "Fiete Match" app on their own and get to know what the children's library has to offer by taking photos of sea objects.

Bee robot

The children listen to the story "Zilly and Zingaro - the evil robot" and get a playful introduction to the topics of robots and programming. They have the opportunity to try out the bee robots (Bee-Bots) on their own.

The letter eater

The children listen to the story "The Letter Eater" by Paul Maar. The story is creatively realized with language games and the creation of an animated film with the Stop Motion app.

Monster World

The event combines reading aloud the story "Drei miese, fiese Kerle" by Paul Maar with digital content. The children solve a Kahoot quiz together and take photos of the three nasty guys in the children's library with the iPad.

Magic rally with Actionbound

The children listen to Goethe's famous ballad The Sorcerer's Apprentice, which forms the starting point for the magic rally. Using the Actionbound app, the children embark on a digital and interactive discovery tour through the children's library. Will they manage to defeat the evil wizard at the end?

The picture book "What happened here?" encourages the children to create their own animated films using the Stop Motion app.

The event combines reading aloud the story of the little water sprite with creative and digital content. The children create a word chain with adjectives and nouns. They go on a digital rally with the Actionbound app, which includes questions about the story read aloud.

The children receive an introduction to comics and work with the digital pinboard Padlet. Presentation of the comic movie "Boris, Babette und lauter Skelette" by Tanja Esch. Creative realization with a comic bingo.

Comic workshop with Book Creator

The children receive a brief introduction to comics. They create their own comic with Smurf characters. To do this, they create a storyboard in groups, draw backgrounds and work with the Book Creator app. Finally, the children present their self-designed comic.
