AI slop

In English, "slop" means something like mud. "AI slop" refers to content that is generated en masse by artificial intelligence (AI), appears empty in terms of content and is not well-founded. Such texts come across as "blah blah blah". Such images appear completely distorted and artificial or very idealized and interchangeable. In the worst cases, such videos show content that people have freely invented and, with the help of AI, disseminate widely across the internet in reasonably realistic-looking short films.

Clicks are the currency of today's internet. In order to achieve a high level of attention and reach, such content created with little human effort seems to be helpful. They flood the internet like an avalanche of mud.
