Digital e-mail signature of the city of Offenbach am Main

The city administration of Offenbach am Main uses S/MIME to digitally sign its emails. It uses its own certification authority (CA) for this purpose.

You can download the public key of the e-mail CA to verify the signature of the city administration.

It is relatively easy for Outlook users to install the certificate: Download the CER file and double-click on it. An installation dialog will appear and guide you through the steps.

Thunderbird users must import the certificate under Settings -> Advanced -> Certificates.
