Welcome to the City Health Department
The City Health Department is your central point of contact for all matters relating to the protection and promotion of public health. We monitor, describe and evaluate the health situation of Offenbach's population and have a public mandate to protect and promote the health of its citizens.
Our main tasks include
Health protection: We monitor hygiene standards, take care of infection control and respond to health hazards in the population.
Prevention and health promotion: We support healthy living for all age groups with awareness campaigns and preventative measures.
Advice and support: We provide citizens with advice and support - whether for questions about prevention, difficult life situations or mental stress.
Examinations and assessments: Our medical specialists carry out examinations, provide expert opinions and advise on socio-medical issues.
Protection of particularly vulnerable groups: Children, young people, the elderly and people with special needs receive special attention and support from us.
