Municipal council decides on uniform management for the Real Estate division
11.06.2021 – From mid-June, Stadtwerke Offenbach's Geschäftsfeld Immobilien will once again be under a single management team. At its meeting on June 9, the municipal council appointed Daniela Matha as Managing Director and Spokesperson of Gemeinnützige Baugesellschaft Offenbach mbH Offenbach (GBO), GBM Service GmbH and GBM Gebäudemanagement GmbH with effect from June 16, 2021 to March 31, 2025. In addition, Daniela Matha will continue to manage Stadtwerke Offenbach's other real estate companies: Offenbacher Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft (OPG), Mainviertel GmbH & Co. KG and INNO Innovationscampus Offenbach GmbH & Co. KG.
With the appointment of Daniela Matha, the previous Managing Director of the companies, Annette Schroeder-Rupp, was dismissed and released from her duties from June 16. Her five-year contract is due to expire on October 31, 2021 and will not be extended.
The municipal council has also decided to create a second managing director position for GBO. Stadtwerke Offenbach Holding (SOH) has been commissioned to find a suitable candidate by means of a personnel selection process.
Personnel changes at GBM
There are also personnel changes in the second managing director positions of the two GBM companies: Peter Walther has been removed from this position and can concentrate more on his activities as managing director of Stadtwerke Offenbach Holding (SOH). He will be succeeded on the GBM management boards alongside Daniela Matha by Stefan Tischberger, a long-standing and experienced GBM authorized signatory.
Joint strategic alignment of the real estate division
The municipal council justified its decision with the outstanding work that Daniela Matha has done for the City of Offenbach and the real estate division of Stadtwerke for many years. The decision to return to a uniform management of the real estate division was also based on the result of a business segment analysis as part of the SOH project "Convenio", which recommended a joint strategic alignment of the real estate companies.
The municipal council thanked Annette Schroeder-Rupp for her involvement and her contribution to numerous projects for the positive development of Offenbach as a residential and real estate location over the past five years.
