Customized work for the new heating system

01.10.2021 – With the help of a telescopic crane with a load capacity of 200 tons, three reinforced concrete containers for the new heating system for the Geschwister-Scholl-School in Bieber were lifted onto their foundations on Tuesday.

The new central heating system is lifted onto its foundations by crane.

The pellet heating system is due to go into operation at the end of October and will replace the existing system in the so-called "Schusterbau". This classroom building, which dates back to the 1960s, will then be demolished and replaced by a larger, modern school building.

The new construction and installation of the new heating system next to the specialist classroom building on Flurstraße are part of the expansion and renovation of the integrated comprehensive school (IGS), which is being carried out by the municipal utility company OPG Offenbacher Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH on behalf of the city of Offenbach, represented by the building construction management department of the Office for Urban Planning, Transport and Construction Management.
