The binder for rental documents becomes superfluous
All tenants of the Stadtwerke subsidiary GBO Gemeinnützige Baugesellschaft mbH can view their tenancy documents online around the clock and manage them themselves.
The tenant portal "My GBO" bundles all documents in one digital location. The file folder on the shelf becomes superfluous and important correspondence with the landlord can no longer be misplaced. The portal can be accessed after registration either via the GBO website on Stadtwerke Offenbach's Internet access or via a corresponding Android or Apple app for a mobile device.
Any further questions can be submitted digitally and will then quickly reach the responsible clerk, who will then process the inquiries during business hours. Of course, it is still possible to call in person.
GBO also uses the portal to send its tenants urgent messages by email or push notification to their cell phones. This can happen, for example, if the water has to be turned off temporarily due to pipe damage or if the heating is not working for the duration of maintenance work.
Access to data around the clock is not new for all tenants: GBO had already introduced the "My GBO" tenant portal in a first step in 2022. Only tenants who live in a property with a central heating system had access to this. They can use it to view consumption information for their heating and hot water meters with wireless modules during the year.
