Playground for apartment building in Leibnizstraße
14.06.2017 – GBO Gemeinnützige Baugesellschaft Offenbach mbH, part of the Stadtwerke Offenbach Holding (SOH) Geschäftsfeld Immobilien division, completely renovated and modernized the apartment building from the 1930s in Leibnizstraße at the end of last year. This resulted in family-friendly apartments. A playground has now been added to the garden of the building.
The layout of the apartments in the apartment building was changed as part of the core refurbishment: Instead of the previous three apartments with one or two rooms, there are now two apartments on each floor. GBO can now offer not only six one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom apartments in this property, but also six three-bedroom and two four-bedroom apartments. This makes the building complex even more attractive for families.
Space to play and run around
The building company has also redesigned the outdoor facilities accordingly. As part of the work, which has now been completed, a playground for the youngest tenants was created on the garden side of the residential complex. The little ones from the 30 apartments, which are now fully let, now have a sandpit for digging and building, which also has a versatile play area for toddlers. Here they can slide, climb and hide.
A swing set has also been installed on a spacious lawn area where children can let off steam. In addition to a swing seat, there is a so-called bird's nest for several small users. Parents can watch their offspring from the new balconies on the garden side or from the two garden benches.
Entire outdoor area upgraded
Among other things, the bicycle parking spaces, lawn and planting beds in front of the buildings were renovated. In addition, the garbage can stands were surrounded by trellises to provide privacy from both the street and the building, and the area was given new paving.
